PLY 3 is a 3-layer plastic. By engraving at two depths, the underlying color layers become visible.

PLY 3 is a layered engraving material for high contrast lettering, signs and technical identification.
Application and Processing:
Engraving depth, feed rate and tool selection should be adjusted so that the surface layer is cleanly removed without machining unnecessarily deeply into the substrate. For small lettering and detailed designs, a sharp tool, a flat material surface and consistent machining are particularly important. Before processing larger quantities, we recommend testing the parameters using the actual colour combination and material thickness.
