Engraving Materials and Engraving Sheets for Laser and Rotary Engraving
Discover high-quality engraving materials and engraving sheets for professional applications in industry, trade, signage and sign making. At Innograv, you will find a wide selection of materials for laser engraving, rotary engraving, labelling and industrial identification.
Our range includes engraving plastics, two-layer plastics, acrylic glass and metals in various colours, surfaces and material thicknesses. Depending on the product, our engraving materials are suitable for indoor use, outdoor use or particularly demanding industrial applications.
Plastic Engraving Sheets
Our plastic engraving sheets are suitable for laser engraving, rotary engraving and professional labelling. Depending on the product, different colours, surfaces and material thicknesses are available.
Two-layer engraving sheets consist of differently coloured top and core layers. During engraving, the top layer is removed to reveal the contrasting colour underneath. This produces clean, high-contrast and permanently legible engraving results.
The plastic engraving sheets are particularly suitable for signs, nameplates, front panels, machine identification and industrial labelling. Depending on the material, the sheets can be processed both by laser and mechanically with an engraving cutter.
Engraving Materials for Laser and Rotary Engraving
We offer specially developed materials for different engraving processes. Laser-optimised engraving sheets enable fine, high-contrast markings, while materials for rotary engraving allow clean mechanical processing.
Many of our materials are suitable for both processes and can also be cut, drilled, sawn, bonded or further processed.
Engraving Materials for Indoor and Outdoor Use
UV-resistant and weather-resistant engraving materials are available for outdoor applications. They are suitable, for example, for industrial signs, machine identification, information signs and permanent outdoor labelling.
Use the filters to select materials specifically for laser engraving, rotary engraving, indoor use or outdoor use.
Order Engraving Sheets Online
Many of our engraving sheets are available in different colours, thicknesses and formats. Using our configurators, you can order sheet formats, strips and custom-cut sizes directly online.

Frequently Asked Questions About Engraving Materials and Engraving Sheets
Which engraving materials are suitable for laser engraving?
Specially developed engraving plastics, acrylic glass and other laser-compatible materials are suitable for laser engraving. Two-layer engraving sheets create high-contrast markings when the top layer is removed. Depending on the material, the sheets can also be cut with a laser.
What is a two-layer plastic?
Two-layer plastics consist of a thin top layer and a differently coloured core layer. During engraving, the top layer is removed to reveal the colour underneath. This creates high-contrast and permanently legible markings.
Which engraving sheets are suitable for outdoor use?
UV-resistant and weather-resistant engraving materials should be used for outdoor applications. They are suitable for industrial signs, machine identification, information signs and building signage. Suitable materials can be selected directly using the relevant filters.
What is the difference between laser engraving and rotary engraving?
Laser engraving processes the surface without contact using a laser beam. With rotary engraving, material is mechanically removed using an engraving cutter. Many Innograv engraving sheets are suitable for both processing methods.
Which engraving sheets are suitable for nameplates?
High-contrast and durable engraving plastics as well as various metals are particularly suitable for nameplates. The right material depends on the application, the desired surface and the requirements for UV and weather resistance.
Can I order engraving sheets cut to size?
Many Innograv engraving sheets can be ordered directly in the required format. For numerous materials, individual dimensions and custom-cut sizes can be selected using the product configurators.
