Acrylic Spectrum LED

Spectrum LED Perspex® acrylic is a weather resistant acrylic material with specially optimised colour properties for modern and high quality illuminated applications. The material has been developed particularly for use with LED light sources and supports an even, intense and colour stable lighting effect.

Product Information:
Spectrum LED Perspex® acrylic is suitable for engraving, cutting and decorative as well as illuminated signage. With suitable laser or milling parameters, the material can be processed precisely and allows clean contours and high quality visible edges. Its specially optimised material properties support effective light distribution in LED applications.

Application and Processing:
For visible cut edges, the processing parameters should be adapted to the material, as focus, feed rate and power directly affect the edge quality. Protective films should remain on the surface until shortly before processing and should only be removed where required by the respective process. For illuminated applications, the engraving position, material thickness, LED spacing and incidence of light should be taken into account during the design stage.
