PLY 2 is the bestseller among engraving materials, known for its high quality and versatility. The ultra-thin coating enables fine, high-contrast engravings without shadowing and ensures clean, precise results.

Product Information:
PLY 2 is a two-layer engraving material for high contrast lettering, signs and technical identification. Key characteristics include a microthin cap layer for fine text and detailed logos and a matt or low reflection surface. The matte, non-reflective surface provides excellent readability even under challenging lighting conditions. PLY 2 is available in a wide range of colours and thicknesses and is suitable for signs, nameplates, and industrial labeling.

Application and Processing:
Engraving depth, feed rate and tool selection should be adjusted so that the surface layer is cleanly removed without machining unnecessarily deeply into the substrate. For small lettering and detailed designs, a sharp tool, a flat material surface and consistent machining are particularly important. Before processing larger quantities, we recommend testing the parameters using the actual colour combination and material thickness. Thanks to its uniform material structure, both simple and detailed engravings can be produced reliably.
