AlumaMark is a specially engineered aluminum designed to be marked with a CO₂ laser. It is distinguished by its unique ability to produce black, positive markings on silver, gold, bronze, brass-colored, or colored surfaces.

Product Information:
AlumaMark is a specially coated aluminum material for direct marking with a CO₂ laser. The mark is created by a thermal reaction in the surface, allowing high contrast black graphics as well as controlled grey tones. This makes the material suitable for nameplates, labels, plaques, detailed logos and photographic or halftone graphics. The material is specifically developed for use with low energy settings and is suitable for producing nameplates, plaques, trophy plates, labels, indoor signage, and many other applications.

Application and Processing:
Since the laser process does not remove the base material but instead selectively alters the coating through heat, focus and laser power should be carefully matched. This helps achieve a uniform and reproducible marking result. For photos, grayscale images or halftones, it is recommended to create a test field with different parameter settings beforehand. Unlike traditional processes where materials are etched or engraved, AlumaMark marking is created through a thermal reaction with the heat of the laser.
