Why can only trade customers place orders?

We have been operating as suppliers and partners for the retail trade for many years. Unfortunately, therefore, we are not able to supply private individuals. We hope you understand.

Who is a trade customer?

Innograv GmbH only supplies commercial businesses, public-sector legal entities and special public-sector funds as defined by § 310 Para 1 of the German Civil Code. Commercial businesses as defined by our General Terms of Business are persons, legal entities or legally constituted partnerships who enter into a business relationship with us in the course of their commercial or independent professional trading activities.

Do you check if I am a trade customer?

We check whether your details match the definition of a trade customer.

Why do I need a customer account?

Having a customer account offers greater convenience for regular orders. We enable the account as soon as we have checked your details.

I don’t see any prices. What do I need to do?

Prices are visible to logged-in trade customers with a customer account.

How do I delete my customer account?

You can send a request in writing (by e-mail to info@innograv.com or by fax to +49 (0)4232 9458-58) at any time for your customer account to be deleted. If your details are still required in order to process a current order, they will be deleted as soon as the order has been fully processed and full payment of the purchase price has been made. For your security, we reserve the right to confirm with you by telephone that you wish the account to be deleted. This does not affect the legal obligation to retain data under the taxation and company law requirements.

Can I order from you as a business trader based outside the EU?

Basically, any trade customer can order items directly from our online shop regardless of where the business is based. Under our General Terms of Business, all transactions are subject to German law.

In view of the customs and taxation issues that have to be clarified in each particular case, however, we can only accept an order under our General Terms of Business once those questions have been clarified to the satisfaction of both parties. In such cases we will contact you directly.

How do I place an order?

The ordering process is self-explanatory. If you need custom items or other special requirements, select the desired features step by step in the configurator for the product concerned and then place the configured product in your shopping basket.

Once you have placed an item in your shopping basket, you can click “Go to checkout” to complete the order or else click “Continue shopping”. You can also view your shopping basket and then from there click “Continue shopping” to select more items.

Why am I sent an order confirmation?

Once you have placed an order you are automatically sent an e-mail showing the details of the order. It is for your security so that you know we have received your order. At this point it is not a confirmation that we have accepted the order.

At what point does my order become a binding contract?

You commit to purchase the items as soon as you submit the order at the checkout. Legally it constitutes a binding commitment by you to purchase from us (see General Terms of Business) that we accept by issuing a confirmation of order acceptance.

Will I receive a legally binding confirmation of order acceptance?

The confirmation of order acceptance is sent by separate e-mail. It constitutes a binding contract for both parties regarding the sale of the ordered products according to our General Terms of Business.

Why is there no current list of shipping costs to EU countries outside Germany and Austria?

Why is there no current list of shipping costs to EU countries outside Germany and Austria? Our greatest objective is satisfied customers. In view of the special considerations regarding weight, consignment format and security of packaging that have to be taken into account with a large number of our deliveries, and in view of the frequently changing rates, our experience tells us that it is more convenient for our customers if we discuss shipping options and costs directly with you. Our confirmation of order acceptance shows the up-to-date rates for the courier service. If they are not acceptable, you can cancel the order at no charge by e-mail. We are happy to discuss any queries on the phone at any time. We hope you can understand that the e-mail cancellation must be sent immediately on receipt of the order acceptance confirmation in order to prevent misdirected consignments.

Do I get a discount on large order volumes?

Depending on the type of products concerned we can, of course, offer discounts on large volume orders. The discount rates are shown on the product page concerned. With many products, the discount even extends across entire product groups.

Product information

Where can I find information on the products offered?

Basically, the information about the particular products is provided directly on the product page concerned. For engraving materials, as a quick guide above the product we show a row of pictograms that represent the particular properties.

In addition, on pages with configurable products (engraving materials, custom plates, round/oval tags) you will see an area identified by a red i(nformation) button. There you can find detailed descriptions of the properties by clicking on the relevant tabs.

Custom-made products to your requirements

Can I also order the products in the catalogue as customised products online?

We supply engraving materials as complete sheets or on request as strips or in custom formats. With most materials you can choose whether you want a self-adhesive backing or not. Facets and rounded corners are generally always possible. Holes can also be drilled to your requirements. For more information please refer to our special advice page.

The same applies to custom plates, and round and oval tags.

And all such specially made items can be ordered from the online shop. The programming of those functions for the various products was a real challenge. The brief was to create a simple and user-friendly application. We hope that the functions are now self-explanatory for all users. So we have simply set out a few basic guidance notes here.

How do I configure engraving materials, custom plates, round and oval tags to my particular specifications?

All individually configurable products are identified by a large red button depicting a spanner.

If engraving materials offer a choice of sheet, strip or custom plate, you should make that selection first. That selection forms the basis for the subsequently selectable features. If you change that selection after you have already selected subordinate features, those features will necessarily be deleted.

The required properties of the product ordered should be selected from the series of tabs subsequently presented. Please work through the tabs one by one and enter your specifications. You can select the tabs directly or press the green “Next” button underneath the tabs on the right. You can view your choices by clicking on the tabs or pressing the “Back” button.

If you change your mind, you can use the “Delete” button to delete the entries in the active (currently displayed) tab.

The unavoidable flip-side of greater product configurability to suit particular requirements is the need to pay careful attention to your choice of features. Please open each tab one at a time and enter your selections in each one. Please pay special attention to the “Options” and “Drilled holes” tabs and select either “None” or the desired choice.

Once you have configured the product to your satisfaction, please click the “Apply” button. The prices shown underneath do not automatically adjust to reflect your selections until you switch to another tab or click “Apply”. You can then specify the quantity required and place the fully configured product in your shopping basket.
